Things the Windber Lions are doing for our community

We as the Windber Lions Club have had the ability to help with getting people in the community help with vision care , this includes helping people who need assistance  to get eyeglasses for them selves and there children, we also have collected over 2994 pairs of eye glasses to be used to help people see. We have offered assistance for people that have hearing impairment, we have programs that can help in getting hearing aids, hearing tests.

Windber Lions Offer two $500 Scholarships to 2 of our graduating seniors.

So far we have given these scholarships.

We are part of the Adopt a Highway program where twice a year we clean a section of highway 

We support youth sport teams to help support our youth

Windber Police Department for annual Christmas for kids

Ramps are us  help get a access ramp for handicap

We have also offered emergency support , to those who have sufffered tragic events Such as loss of life , fire , etc. food donations
